George Clooney ‘hurt in motorcycle crash in Sardinia’
The 57-year-old was reportedly heading to a film set when his motorbike was hit by a car.
George Clooney has been taken to hospital after he was involved in an accident while riding a motorcycle in Sardinia, according to Italian media.
Local daily La Nuova Sardegna said the actor's injuries are not serious but that he was taken to the accident and emergency department of the John Paul II hospital.
The daily said the 57-year-old had been heading to a film set on Tuesday when his motorbike was hit by a car.
Private media firm Mediaset, citing gossip magazine Chi, said the accident occurred near Costa Corallina, in the province of Olbia.
Clooney has a home on the Italian mainland, on Lake Como.
