The Black Eyed Peas have announced a Scottish date in their first tour in eight years.

The announcement came as they premiered their new political single, Get It, tackling "police brutality and immigration reform".

The five-night UK tour will start in London on October 27 and end in Milton Keynes on November 3, with the only Scottish date being at the SSE Hydro on November 2.

The new dates will form part of their first European tour as a group in over eight years.

The trio of rappers, apl.de.ap, Taboo and will.i.am, are best known for their hit songs, Where Is The Love, I Gotta Feeling and My Humps.

With seven chart-topping studio albums, 25 million YouTube views and over ten million monthly Spotify listeners, the GRAMMY award-winning group will perform their catalogue of hits to fans, as well as their new single.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the formation of the original line up of the group.

Tickets for the Masters Of The Sun tour go on sale to the general public on July 13 at 9am.
