A Scottish reality TV star is raising thousands of pounds for charity by cycling 130 miles across France for her 20th birthday.

Singer Tallia Storm embarked on the 212km journey from Cassis to Monaco on Saturday morning with her sister Tessie Hartmann.

The pair are expected to finally reach Monaco on Sunday night.

Tallia, who appeared on E4s Celebs Go Dating and performed at the V&A opening ceremony in Dundee, has so far raised £2,230 for Caudwell Children on the crowdfunding platform GoFundMe.

The 19-year-old, who was given her big break after being spotted by Elton John at 13, said: "For my 20th Birthday I wanted to do something a little different, something outside my comfort zone, so I decided to accept this challenge in aid of a wonderful cause.

"My sister Tessie and I will be taking to the French roads and cycling 212km from Cassis to Monaco on October 6th -7th in aid of Caudwell Children's Charity.

"It's no mean feat but we're going to give it our all in the hope that we can raise significant funds for this wonderful charity and help help transform the lives of disabled children.

"We would be so grateful for any contribution - every penny counts and it really will go a long way."
