The Strictly Come Dancing tour is coming to Glasgow next year.

The cast of celebrities and professional dancers will perform four shows over three nights at the SSE Hydro between the February 1 and 3 2019.

All four Strictly judges will feature for the very first time.

Craig Revel Horwood, Dame Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and head judge Shirley Ballas, who makes her live tour debut, will be joined by 2016 series winner Ore Oduba for 29 shows across the country in January and February.

The celebrities chosen from the current series will be announced over the coming weeks.

However the 2018 series has been plagued in controversy.

On Monday, contestant Vick Hope claimed that producers of the show "fixed" the results, something the BBC "categorically denied".

And earlier in the month comedian and contestant Seann Walsh was forced to apologise on Strictly's sister show It Takes Two after he was caught kissing his married dance partner Katya Jones on camera, leaving many fans wondering if they'll be selected for the tour.

About the run of shows, Ballas said: "I'm really looking forward to joining Darcey, Bruno and Craig on the Strictly live tour judging panel.

I've heard so much about the amazing audiences at the arena shows and can't wait to get the show on the road in January!"

And Tonioli said: "It's great news that Shirley will be joining us on the judging panel on the live tour next year. We are all in for a treat - with the amazing dance routines, the stunning costumes and the incredible live music - it's going to be fantastico!"

It was also announced today that Revel Horwood will direct the live shows.
