Five more Still Game Live shows have been announced after tickets sold out in less than an hour.

Tickets for the show called The Final Farewell went on sale at 10am on Friday but sold out before 11am.

The performances were originally set to run at Glasgow's SSE Hydro over a single weekend from September 27 to 29, with three evening shows and two matinees.

However, due to high demand bosses have now added shows on October 4 to 6, with another three evening shows and two matinees.

Ford Keirnan, Greg Hemphill and the rest of the cast from BBC's much-loved sitcom announced news of the final show on Wednesday.

It will be the third time the comedy has been performed at the Hydro, following sell-out runs in 2014 and 2017.
