With temperatures across the country set to soar, the National Trust for Scotland is gearing up for one of its busiest Easter weekends ever.

Almost 40,000 chocolate eggs have been delivered to 44 of the conservation charity's locations in preparation for the Cadbury's Easter Egg Hunts taking place across the holiday weekend.

An ideal way to celebrate the first signs of spring, fun seekers can also discover some of Scotland's most treasured places and spaces all while uncovering clues to receive a delicious chocolate prize for their efforts.

National Trust for Scotland properties across the country will be participating in the hunts, including Culzean Castle in Ayrshire, Harmony Garden in Melrose, Pollok House in Glasgow, Brodick Castle in Arran, Alloa Tower in Clackmannanshire, and Crathes Castle in Aberdeenshire.
