Starman: Unseen photographs of David Bowie on display in Scotland
The sell out-exhibition showcases intimate images by the singer's official tour photographer.
Intimate photographs of David Bowie will go on display in Scotland this week.
David & I will showcase 40 images of the iconic singer taken by Denis O'Regan, around half of which have never been seen by the public before.
O'Regan toured with David Bowie as his official photographer on the 1983 Serious Moonlight tour, 1987 Glass Spider Tour and 1990 Sound and Vision Tour.
His images often depict the singer exploring the cities as a tourist.
The photographs of Bowie will go on display at Eastern Mini Showroom in Edinburgh on Thursday and Pretty Green in Glasgow on the following two nights.
O'Regan says: "I'm really excited to be bringing the tour to Scotland. The exhibitions have been so well received and every one has been a sell out.
"It's really nice to share so many personal moments that me and David shared with a wider audience, and it's been really quite emotional to see the joy it's brought to so many people.'
The sell-out exhibition in conjunction with Off Beat Lounge has proved so popular that a further eight dates have been scheduled across the UK for spring.
Bowie passed away at the age of 69 in Manhattan, New York, in January this year after a secret 18-month battle with liver cancer.
