Awesome reflections: Striking photographs from across Scotland
Photographers reflect on top beauty spots from majestic architecture to moody mountain scenes.
There's something so pleasingly calming about the symmetry of a reflection.
Whether it is a dramatic landscape mirrored over a loch or the shadow of a building towering over a city, that magic moment when light waves reflect from surfaces can create a beautiful scene.
Scotland has never been short of inspiration for providing the backdrops to capture these fleeting moments, and this has been the inspiration behind this month's photo challenge in partnership with the Scotland from the Roadside Facebook group.
Launching in April this year, more than 200 photographers have already taken part in scouting the country in response to photo challenges set each month.
Whittling it down to our favourite ten, this small selection of an incredible offering captures those who really embraced this month's theme of 'Awesome Reflections'.
If you would like to take part in the next photo challenge, please watch out for announcements on the Scotland from the Roadside page.
