A fresh search is ongoing for a man who fell from a bridge into the River Ness.

Marek Michalak, from Poland, plunged into the Inverness river at around 5.20pm on January 31.

Officers searched the shoreline on Monday, accompanied by dog handlers and the Police Scotland helicopter.

Kessock RNLI were scrambled in the hours after Mr Michalak first disappeared but found no trace of the man.

Anyone who saw two men near the Greig Street Bridge between 5pm and 6pm on January 31 has been asked to contact Police Scotland on its 101 non-emergency number.
