Thousands of Ross County fans have taken to the streets of Dingwall to celebrate their team’s League Cup victory.

The Staggies won the trophy last week brushing aside Hibs 2-1 at Hampden on Sunday.

It was Ross County’s first appearance in the final.

As the players took to an open top bus, supporters lined the streets to greet their heroes.

The team paraded from their stadium following a 0-3 defeat to Highland rivals Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday.

Club spokesman David O'Connor said: "The messages of congratulations have been overwhelming since the victory over Hibernian.”
