A 73-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash at the weekend has been identified by police.

Gordon Blair died when his BMW motorbike collided with an Audi A5 and a Honda Civic on the A82 near Lewiston in the Highlands on Saturday.

Mr Blair's family, from Staffordshire in England, are said to have been "devastated" by his death.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "We can confirm that the motorcyclist who died was Gordon Keith Blair, aged 73, from Staffordshire.

"The collision occurred about 4.15pm and involved three vehicles, a BMW Motorcycle, a Grey Audi A5 and a Blue Honda Civic. No other parties sustained any serious injuries.

"The family of Mr Blair are understandably devastated by their loss."
