Man seriously injured in three-vehicle crash on the A9
Emergency services were called out to the incident near Thurso in the Highlands on Monday morning.
A man has been taken to hospital after a three-car crash near Thurso.
Emergency services were called to the A9 at the junction with the B874 Halkirk road just before 9am on Monday.
A man in his 50s has been airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness in a serious condition.
The drivers of the two other cars, a man and a woman, were not seriously injured.
The road was closed for much of the day, reopening just before 4pm.
