Man in court after 'crashing car into police vehicle'

A man has appeared in court after allegedly crashing a car into a police vehicle.
Vadims Prohorovs was arrested after an Audi collided with the marked car near Fort William in the Highlands on March 12.
The 22-year-old appeared at Fort William Sheriff Court charged with six offences on Monday.
He was accused of dangerous driving, stealing a vehicle and failing to stop for police officers.
Prohorovs was also charged with driving without insurance and getting behind the wheel without a licence during the incident on Glen Nevis Road in Caol.
He pled not guilty to those charges and was remanded in custody with a trial set for later this month.
The accused, of Fort William, admitted a separate charge of theft by shoplifting and will be sentenced at a later date.
