A teenage cancer victim has been remembered with a mass car cruise in the Highlands.

Dylan Kay, 15, had been diagnosed with leukemia at the age of seven.

He had his life support machine switched off with his family at his bedside at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow on April 29.

Family and friends of the youngster, from Westhill near Inverness, came together to pay their respects this week.

They organised a gathering of motoring enthusiasts to coincide with his memorial service as the teenager "loved fast cars".

More than 100 cars took part in an event in his memory in his home city this week, in what was dubbed "Dylan's Cruise".

Video of the cruise on Tuesday night was taken by William T Fraser and Son Funeral Director and has been shared on social media.

Family asked supporters to donate to the charity CLIC Sargent, which helped the school boy.
