Thousands of Scottish independence supporters have marched through Inverness for the latest All Under One Banner event.

The march held on Saturday is said to be one of the biggest to be held in Inverness in recent memory and comes weeks after tens of thousands took part in the Glasgow version.

Several roads and streets had to be temporarily closed off to accommodate the marchers.

All Under One Banner is a series of planned marches through Scotland to show that there is "still an appetite for Scottish Independence".

It comes four years after 55% of the country voted to remain as part of the UK in 2014.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has previously hinted that a second referendum could take place after the impact of Brexit is clearer.

The Scottish Government voted to hold another referendum last year but UK Prime Minister Theresa May said "now is not the time" for a second vote.
