A man was arrested after an alleged 'flashing' incident in a busy shopping centre.

A police hunt was launched following a complaint of indecent behaviour at the Eastgate Centre in Inverness on Tuesday.

The incident was said to have taken place at around 11.45am in the area of the Archie Cafe on the ground floor of the mall.

Police Scotland has confirmed a 63-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and then released without charge, pending further enquiries.

A police spokesperson said: "Members of the public are thanked for their assistance with this enquiry."
