Woman who died while hillwalking with daughter named
Police have confirmed the name of the woman who was found dead on Glen Coe on Monday.
A woman who died after getting in to difficulty while hillwalking with her daughter on Glen Coe has been named.
Rebekah Caroline Pettifer, from Northamptonshire, was found dead by emergency services on Monday after the alarm was raised by a member of the public at around 9.30am.
Ms Pettifer's 23-year-old daughter was also injured in the incident and airlifted to Bedford Hospital in Fort William for treatment.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the 52-year-old's death.
It is believed the women had spent the night in the hills between Glen Etive and Glen Coe after they got stuck during a walk on Sunday.
A police spokesperson said: "Officers would again like to thank Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team and HM Coastguard for their support of this incident."
