Motorist 'clocked at 122mph on A96' charged with dangerous driving
Six other drivers were allegedly recorded at speeds of up to 103mph on the road.
A 62-year-old motorist has been charged with dangerous driving after allegedly travelling at 122mph on the A96.
A 24-year-old man has also been charged with driving dangerously after reportedly going at 113mph on the Inverurie to Kintore road.
Six other drivers aged between 26 and 46 were allegedly recorded at speeds of up to 103mph on the route.
Police Scotland carried out speed checks on the A96 between Inverurie and Huntly in Aberdeenshire on Wednesday.

Sergeant Steve Manson said: “Despite highly publicising our activity on the roads, it's clear the message is still not getting through.
“With inappropriate speed still being the factor in many fatal and serious collisions, officers will continue to work to actively target drivers who ignore these messages, issuing fixed penalties or reporting any offenders where appropriate.”
