A staff member at an Aberdeen after-school club has been suspended amid a police investigation into an alleged incident involving a child.
The incident reportedly happened recently at Ashley Road Kids Club, which looks after children who attend Ashley Road primary school.
Police Scotland confirmed officers are investigating the incident, but said their inquiry is at an early stage.
A spokeswoman said: "We are carrying out an investigation in relation to a reported incident at Ashley Road Kids Club.
"We are working with Care Inspectorate and Aberdeen City Council."
Ashley Road Kids Club, also known as ARK, was established at Ashley Road School in 2001.
The school in the Aberdeen's west end is one of five primaries within the catchment area of Aberdeen Grammar School.
