A lorry driver has died in hospital after his vehicle veered into the garden of a house and crashed in Aberdeenshire.
Harold Waterworth, 72, from Arbroath, in Angus, died at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The crash happened at around 8.20am on Thursday on an unclassified road near Catterline, just south of Stonehaven.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that the driver of a lorry which was on the unclassified road to Catterline this morning has died.
"We can formally name him as Harold Waterworth who was from the Arbroath area."
