Woman dies in hospital after being knocked down by lorry in Aberdeen

A woman has died in hospital after being knocked down by a lorry in Aberdeen.
The 51-year-old pedestrian was hit on Market Street shortly before 8.30am on Wednesday.
She was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries, where she later died.
Market Street has been partially closed while officers investigate the collision.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We would request that motorists be patient with any delays in the area.
"We would also like to appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision who has not already spoken to us to contact officers on 101."
The woman has not been identified but her family have been informed of her death.
