A man has been charged in connection with an attempted robbery at a shop in Aberdeen.

Roslin Stores on Urquhart Road was targeted at around 7.20pm on January 19.

The perpetrator was wearing an Iron Man mask when he attacked.

A 23-year-old is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that a 23-year-old man has been charged in relation to an attempted robbery at Roslin Stores, in the Urquhart Road area of Aberdeen, which occurred on January 19."
