Family and friends are growing increasingly concerned for a north east man who has been missing for several days.

Allan Cuthbertson, 58, was last seen at his home in the Northfield area of Aberdeen at 7.45am on Sunday. He is described as being 5ft8 in height, of slim build, pale complexion, short cropped dark brown hair, brown eyes and has an Edinburgh accent.

Mr Cuthbertson was last seen wearing a khaki green parka jacket with fur on the hood, wrangler jeans and grey loafers - he also wears glasses.

Investigating officer sergeant Stuart Gray said: "We are anxious to trace Mr. Cuthbertson as he has been missing for a number of days, which would be out of character, and naturally this is a worrying time for his family and friends.

"We are appealing to anyone who may have seen Allan in recent days or have information on his whereabouts to contact us to assist with our enquiries."

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
