Lorries 'filled with alcohol and furniture' stolen and torched
The HGVs were taken from M&H Logistics on Craigshaw Road in Aberdeen on Monday.
Two lorries believed to contain alcohol and furniture have been stolen and torched.
The HGVs were taken from M&H Logistics on Craigshaw Road in Aberdeen at midnight on Monday.
They were found ablaze in a layby on the A97 south of Huntly, Aberdeenshire, at around 5am.
Detective sergeant Scott Gillespie said: "I would appeal for anyone who saw two HGVs in the north east between midnight and 5am this morning to contact police as a matter of urgency as we trace their movements.
"We are following several positive lines of enquiry however I would urge anyone with information about these incidents to get in touch.
