Police officers have searched land near a golf course as part of a murder investigation in Aberdeen.
James Chadwick was allegedly killed by two men at his home on Holland Street in September 2015.
Ryan Gibb and Cameron Laurie have been charged with his murder and will appear in court later this month.
Officers cordoned off an area near the Kings Links Golf Course at the weekend as part of their inquiry.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland would not clarify what the officers were looking for.
She said: "Officers are currently searching an area of Aberdeen in relation to the murder of James Chadwick in Holland Street in September 2015.
"Two men, aged 30 and 31, were arrested and charged in connection with his death at that time.''
