A motorist killed in a crash near a farm in Orkney has been named by police.
James Gunn died in the collision near Sandwick, Mainland, on Saturday morning.
The 32-year-old was the only person in the car and no other vehicles were involved.
The road was shut for about 12 hours while officers carried out enquiries at the scene.
A spokesman for Police Scotland added: "Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw a white Ford Focus being driven on the A967 between Stromness and Twatt between 4.15am and 5.30am on Saturday, contact officers on 101."
