A dangerous driving incident on the A90 is being investigated by Peterhead police.

A red Ford Fiesta was allegedly involved in an incident on the southbound carriageway of the A90 between Crimond to St Fergus at around 9pm on Tuesday, July 12.

A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.

The road was busy at the time and police are appealing for witnesses, particularly other drivers, to come forward.

PC Tom Allan said: "We are appealing for members of the public who were in the area at the time to come forward with information they may have.

"A number of other vehicles were on the road at the time of the incident and we are particularly keen to speak with the drivers of a white car travelling northbound and a dark, possibly burgundy, hatchback that was travelling southbound."
