Firefighters at scene of fishing trawler blaze for second day

Firefighters remain at the scene of a blaze on a fishing trawler more than 24 hours after it started.
More than 30 firefighters were called out to tackle a blaze aboard a vessel in Peterhead Harbour in the early hours of Tuesday.
Six fire engines were scrambled to Port Henry Basin at around 5.40am. They remained there for the day and crews were still at the scene on Wednesday morning.
The Ardent II was reportedly "well alight" by the time they arrived and firefighters were seen boarding the boat wearing oxygen masks. No one was injured.
The Marine Accident Investigation Branch has launched an inquiry and the SFRS confirmed on Wednesday that firefighters remained at the scene to carry out dampening down processes.
