Stagecoach bus bursts into flames causing road delays
The incident happened on Wellington Road in Aberdeen on Wednesday afternoon.
Motorists in Aberdeen faced long tailbacks after a bus burst into flames on a busy city road.
The incident involving a Stagecoach bus happened on Wellington Road shortly after noon on Wednesday.
The both carriageways were closed for more than 30 minutes following the fire, causing delays for half a mile.
The driver of the bus was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to be examined but was not injured.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted to the fire at about 12.30pm and sent three appliances.
"I'm not aware of any injuries at the moment."
