Woman taken to hospital after being knocked down by car
The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the junction of Braehead Crescent in Stonehaven.
A woman has been taken to hospital after she was struck by a car near an Aberdeenshire housing estate.
The female pedestrian was knocked down by a vehicle on the A967 at the junction with Braehead Crescent in Stonehaven at around 3:05pm on Tuesday.
Ambulance crews were called out to the scene and the woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
She sustained a head injury but is said to be in a stable condition. .
The road is currently closed in both directions.
