A man killed in an industrial accident in Moray has been named.

John Cameron died at an electrical substation near Blackhillock Quarry in Keith on October 28.

The 61-year-old from the north east of England worked for engineering firm BAM Nuttall.

The firm is working with Siemens to build new substations in Moray and the west of Scotland.

Following his death, a spokesman said: "We can confirm that one of our employees from BAM Nuttall has died following injuries sustained in an incident at the Blackhillock substation on Friday morning."

The Health and Safety Executive is investigating the circumstances surrounding Mr Cameron's death.
