A school bus carrying pupils has crashed off the A92 in Aberdeenshire.

The incident happened near Catterline, south of Stonehaven, at about 3.45pm on Wednesday.

The Stagecoach bus was carrying Mackie Academy pupils at the time but nobody was injured.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "A bus has gone off the road on the A92 at Catterline but there have been no injuries.

"They are arranging for a bus to come and collect the passengers at the moment. The crash happened at 3.45pm."
