A driver is being hunted after ploughing into a house then leaving the scene.

The white car crashed into a property in the early hours of Saturday in Keith, Moray.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses and have launched a hunt for the driver after the collision in the town's Moss Street at around 12.30am.

A statement from Police Scotland said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle collided with a house in Keith and failed to stop and report the incident.

"The collision happened at around 12.30am on Saturday, January 14, at Moss Street in Keith.

"Officers have appealed to anyone who may have seen a white-coloured vehicle in the area around the time to come forward.

"They have also requested that anyone with information contact the police on 101."
