A haul of cocaine with a street value of more than £215,000 has been seized in Aberdeen.

The drugs were recovered from a vehicle in an operation led by officers from Police Scotland's organised crime team in Torry on Thursday.

Two men, aged 21 and 23, have been arrested and charged and will appear in court on Friday.

Detective inspector Robin Sim said: "The supply of drugs in our communities will not be tolerated and we will continue to make the region a hostile environment for such activity.

"Anyone with concerns about drug misuse in their community should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous."
