Police have descended on a flat in Dundee after the death of a man.

Officers have cordoned off South Tay Street following an incident at about 11am on Tuesday.

A man died in hospital after an alert was raised.

Investigations are being carried out at his flat above the Blu Hair and Beauty.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police Scotland is carrying out enquiries in relation to a sudden death of a man.

"There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances."
