An 18-year-old has been charged in connection with an alleged gang attack that left a man with facial injuries.

The man, 26, was reportedly assaulted after an altercation with teenagers in Loirston Place, Cove Bay, Aberdeen on Sunday June 4.

He sustained facial injuries and was treated at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Police have confirmed that an arrest has been made and a report submitted to the procurator fiscal.
