The death of a woman at a flat in Aberdeen is being investigated by police.

Officers were called to the property on Great Northern Road shortly before 8pm on Sunday.

They said the woman's death was being treated as unexplained.

A spokeswoman said: "We were called to a property in the Great Northern Road area just before 8pm on Sunday along with the ambulance service.

"Inquiries are at an early stage and the death is being treated as unexplained."
