A man who died after allegedly being shot with a bow and arrow has been named.

Gordon Diduca was fatally injured during a disturbance at a flat in Dundee on Sunday night.

The 24-year-old labourer is believed to have been shot with an arrow at the property on Dundonald Court and died at the scene.

Police are treating his death as suspicious and say they are following a "positive line of inquiry".

On Monday, a spokesman said: "A man has died following a disturbance at Dundonald Court in Dundee.

"The death is being treated as suspicious and officers are following a positive line of inquiry.

"No further details will be released until formal identification has taken place. Next of kin have been informed."

Friends and family paid tribute to Mr Diduca on social media following his death.
