A 15-year-old boy has been cut free from a car after a crash near a retail park.
Emergency services were called to Berryden Road in Aberdeen at 1.20pm on Wednesday.
The schoolboy has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the three-vehicle smash.
The extent of his injuries are not yet known.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We dispatched one ambulance to the scene.
"One male patient in his teens was taken to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary."
Bus services have been diverted in the area.
