A man from London has been charged after drugs worth more than £126,000 were seized in Aberdeen.

Heroin, cocaine and cannabis were recovered after police searched a property in Ferryhill on Wednesday afternoon.

Nearly £18,500 in cash was also found in what police described as an "intelligence-led search."

A 22-year-old man from London is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in connection with the drugs seizure.

Constable Alan Gordon said: "On a daily basis proactive action is taken to rid our communities of drugs, however, we need assistance from the public to help us do this so we can target our resources to the right places.

"We are always grateful for the support we have from the public and continue to encourage anyone with concerns regarding drugs to report these to police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous."
