The death is being treated as unexplained but it is not thought to be suspicious.
Officers remained at the flat for several hours while an investigation was carried out into the death at 1.30pm on Thursday.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "The death is being treated as unexplained and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal as is standard."
