Man charged as three-year-old girl hurt in 'hit-and-run'

A man has been charged after a three-year-old girl was injured in an alleged hit-and-run.
The toddler was hurt on Auchmill Road near Chalmers Bakery in Aberdeen.
The girl was at a pedestrian crossing with her mother when she is said to have been struck by a Suzuki Alto at 12.30pm on Monday.
She was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A 70-year-old man has been charged in relation to the alleged incident.
He is due to appear in court next month.
