A car has ploughed into a building at the side of the A90 after colliding with a 4x4.

The crash happened near Errol in Perthshire shortly before 1.30pm on Tuesday.

Nobody was inside the building and there were no injuries, police said.

The structure was badly damaged, however, and one of the walls collapsed on top of the car.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "There has been a two-vehicle collision on the A90 southbound.

"It involved a white Fiat Punto and a 4x4. One car involved in the collision struck a roadside building."
