A heavily pregnant woman who had been reported missing from her home has now been found.

Natasha Ritchie had last been seen in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, at around 6.15pm on Sunday.

She was also thought to have been seen on Watermill Road and Sycamore Row on Monday at around 10.30am.

Police Scotland launched an appeal to try and find her, saying the disappearance was "out of character".

But Ms Ritchie, who is eight months pregnant, was located "safe and well" on Tuesday, police confirmed.

A spokesman for the force added: "We would like to convey our thanks to the public for their assistance."
