Pedestrian dies after being struck by car in Aberdeen

A 29-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in Aberdeen.
The man was walking near the Stoneywood roundabout when he was struck by a grey Renault Megane at around 12.30am on Friday.
Police have advised that part of the A947 between Stoneywood roundabout and Mugiemoss Road will remain closed while investigations are carried out.
This may affect rush hour traffic in the area on Friday morning.
Sergeant Rob Warnock is appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the grey Renault Megane immediately prior to the collision occurring to contact Police Scotland on 101.
