Man charged over theft of charity tins in Aberdeenshire
A 41-year-old man has been charged in connection with the theft of 15 containers.
A 41-year-old man has been charged in connection with the theft of 15 charity tins in Aberdeenshire.
The tins were taken from business premises in Peterhead, Turriff and Aberdeen in November.
It is estimated he stole a three-figure sum of money.
Thefts were reported in Drummers Corner, Peterhead, High Street, Turriff and in the city centre of Aberdeen.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
