The body of a woman has been found at a flat in Aberdeen.

Emergency services were called to the property on Walker Road shortly after 10am on Friday.

The death is being treated as unexplained.

Officers have cordoned off the flat while investigations are being carried out.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We are at the property trying to ascertain the circumstances."
