Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage flasher exposed himself to a woman in a city park.

The incident took place at around 9am on Monday when the woman was approached by the man in Duthie Park, Aberdeen.

Officers investigating the incident have released a description of the man they are looking to trace.

The suspect is described as white, in his mid-to-late teens and around 5ft 9ins tall with short hair.

At the time of the incident he was wearing jogging shorts, a dark coloured jersey and black socks with a white lightening bolt running down the front.

Detective Sergeant Stephen Beattie said: "The woman was left shaken after this experience but was not injured or harmed in anyway.

"We are keen to speak to the man described and I would like to hear from anyone who was within the park at the time or who recognises the description given.

"Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101.
