Thieves have raided tents while people were asleep in them at the Rewind Festival.

Mobile phones and cash were stolen from 13 tents at Scone Palace near Perth on Saturday morning.

Six of the thefts happened in the blue campsite, two in the yellow campsite, three in the red campsite and one in the admission campsite.

Officers believe the incidents are linked.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Given the nature of event campsites, it would be difficult to say that anyone seen going between tents would be acting in a suspicious manner.

"However, there is a possibility that other tents were entered and the occupants disturbed, which would have caused the thief/thieves to be seen by those occupiers."

Acts including The Skids, Tiffany, OMD, The Boomtown Rats, Midge Ure and Bonnie Tyler all took to the stage before Status Quo brought the curtain down with their headline set on Sunday night.
