Prisoner reported missing from jail traced by police
Ross Anderson, 27, failed to return to HMP Castle Huntly following a period of home leave.
A prisoner who was reported missing from jail has been traced by police.
Ross Anderson failed to return after home leave from HMP Castle Huntly near Dundee.
The public was warned not to approach the 27-year-old who was reported missing at 5pm on Saturday.
Police confirmed on Monday that Anderson had been traced and subsequently arrested.
A spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm that absconder Ross Anderson has been traced and subsequently arrested."
